Do foreign crews need a filming permit in Vietnam?
Most commercial shoots and shoots by foreign crews need permits, depending on the location and content. Start at least 3 weeks before your shoot date; for international productions, 6 to 8 weeks is the safe window. Drone flights are permitted per location and need at least 7 working days.
