To protect our equipment, additional security measures apply based on client relationship status:
🔒 First-Time or Unverified Clients
Security deposit of 80% of total equipment value is required. This is in addition to the standard rental fee and is fully refundable upon safe return of all equipment.
🌏 Identity Verification Required
🇻🇳 Vietnamese Nationals
Valid CCCD (National ID card) of the person renting or receiving equipment.
🌐 Foreign Nationals
Valid Passport of the person renting or receiving equipment.
✅ Verified / Referred Clients
Clients with a guarantee from an established partner organization connected with CINEFY in Da Nang may qualify for reduced deposit terms. Standard 50% deposit applies. ID verification still required.

Scope of Application
This policy governs the rental of film production equipment - cameras, lenses, lighting, sound gear - and related accessories provided by CINEFY. By renting from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Rental Process & Agreement
1. Consultation & Equipment Selection
CINEFY supports clients in choosing suitable gear based on production needs and duration. A detailed quotation is provided covering rental fee, transport (if any), insurance, and relevant terms.
2. Contract & Deposit
Both parties sign a rental agreement specifying equipment list, period, fees, and responsibilities.
💰 Deposit required: 50% of total rental (or as agreed) to secure the booking.
⚠️ Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or last-minute cancellations unless otherwise agreed.
3. Equipment Handover
Gear is inspected and documented before delivery (body, lenses, batteries, accessories). Client must re-check serials, functionality, and included items at pick-up/delivery.
📝 Insurance or extra security deposit (if any) will be recorded in the contract.
Use & Maintenance Responsibilities
Proper Use
Use equipment as intended and follow operating guidelines. No unauthorized repair or modification.
Technical assistance during the rental period is available via CINEFY support.
Care & Safety
Client is responsible for safe keeping. Avoid moisture, heat, shock, dust, or hazardous settings.
Loss/theft/damage due to negligence requires compensation per contract.
Reporting Issues
Report malfunctions not caused by user error immediately for support or replacement (if available).
Self-repair or unauthorized intervention may void warranty and incur liability.
💡 Pro tip: Record a short unboxing video at pickup/return to help verify equipment condition.
Return & Inspection
⏰ Deadline & Late Fees
Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time. A 60-minute grace period applies.
This charging method continues for each subsequent day until returned.
🔍 Inspection & Deposit Refund
After return, CINEFY inspects all items against the handover report.
✅ All clear? Deposit refund within 1 business day.
⚠️ Damage or missing items? Repair/replacement cost deducted from deposit or billed separately.
Transportation Policy
Delivery & Pickup
Available within designated areas. Transport fees are specified in the contract.
Secure Packing
All items packed securely. Client inspects and acknowledges condition at receipt.
Damage, Loss & Compensation
Cosmetic Wear
Charged per actual repair cost or CINEFY service rate.
Severe Damage / Loss
Compensate at replacement value at rental time, or as mutually agreed.
Lost Accessories
Batteries, chargers, caps, cards, cables, cases - charged at replacement cost.

Our Guarantee
CINEFY guarantees all items are tested and fully functional prior to rental.
Disclaimer
CINEFY is not responsible for output quality or external factors (power, water, weather).
Cancellation & Refund
Pre-Rental Cancellation
More than 48 hours before rental: deposit partially or fully forfeited depending on timing.
After Rental Start
Cancellation subject to mutual agreement. Logistics and manpower costs may be charged.
Refund Process
Refunds (if applicable) processed after full inspection and clearance of returned equipment.
Additional Terms
Optional Add-Ons
On-site tech support, equipment operator, insurance, extended rental periods, and custom terms available on request.
Amendments & Disputes
All amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. Disputes: negotiate first, then competent court. This policy may be updated; the latest version appears on CINEFY’s website.
